By special arrangement Villa Verano has been made available to select qualified groups. The Villa is a privately owned estate and is not open to the general public. Because the Villa accommodates only one group at a time, there is an eight bedroom for five nights minimum. Student groups, bachelor parties, packaging general public groups, or the like are not accepted.

Spa Services

Should you wish to treat yourself to a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, yoga or Pilates instruction, these services are available without having to leave the premises. Reservations should be made prior to arrival and may be arranged through our office manager.

Reservation Policy

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your 50% deposit. The balance, plus a $1,000 security-phone deposit is due 60 days prior to arrival. The security deposit is refundable, providing there is no damage or long distance phone calls during the guest’s stay.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation prior to 120 days: 80% of deposit is refundable. Prior to 90 days: 40% of deposit is refundable. After 90 days, no refund, unless the Villa is rebooked for the EXACT period and occupancy rate cancelled, less a $200 handling fee. Bookings for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are non-refundable.

The Staff

The staff is charming, well trained, and eager to please. They consist of three housemen, two maids, two gardeners, two chefs and a laundress. Their desire is to see that the guests have a wonderful stay.

Please note that it is customary in Mexico for the staff to have half day Saturday and all day Sunday off.  Therefore, special arrangements must be made in advance for Saturday evening or Sunday service, and additional charges may apply.

Food and Liquor

The menus are selected by the guests, and all the shopping is done by the staff on an “at cost” basis; there is no mark-up. An itemized statement of the grocery bill will be presented to the guests the day before departure from the Villa, at which time the bill is paid either by cash or travellers checks. [Please note: no credit cards or personal checks accepted.] The chefs are trained under American standards, and wash all fruits and vegetables in a purifying agent prior to their storage in the refrigerator.

Air Conditioning

All bedrooms have air conditioning.

Water

The estate has its own 30,000 gallon reservoir and purification system.

Electricity

All of the Villa’s electric plug receptacles are U.S. standard (AC 110-115) outlets.

The Library

The air-conditioned library has hundreds of books, a piano, house computer with free unlimited high speed internet access, and DirecTV from the USA with hundreds of channels from which to choose. There is also wireless high speed internet access throughout most of the estate for those bringing laptops or other internet devices.

Additional Information

A comprehensive information pack, with answers to most questions from arriving guests, such as “what to wear,” “what to bring,” etc., will be sent to the guests 30 days prior to arrival. Villa Verano is walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and night life, and only 17 minutes from the airport. A rental car is not needed.

Rates

The Villa’s rates are per bedroom, per night.
Rates as of October 1, 2007*

• June through October – $300/room (8 bedroom minimum, 5 night minimum)
• November through May – $410/room (8 bedroom minimum, 5 night minimum)
• Christmas/New Year's week – $495/room (11 bedroom, 7 night minimum)
• For Thanksgiving there is a 10 bedroom, 7 night minimum

* All rates are subject to a 17% Mexican IVA Tax.

• Check in time is after 3pm, check out time is prior to 11am.
